SPRING CITY, PA – Senator Rick Santorum’s Patriot Voices, the nation’s leading pro-life, pro-family grassroots organization, today released a new petition to the House of Representatives, encouraging Members to protect parents’ rights and oppose the poorly-named Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA).

The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA, for short) would: require social media and other online platforms to gather private data about adults and children; institutionalize federal censorship standards related to medical information, making it more difficult to gain accurate information about vaccines, masking, and even the harms of sex-change operations for children; establish more control for bureaucrats to set “approved” narratives; and, most importantly, transfer parenting authority to government bureaucrats!

Patriot Voices has launched a coalition called Parents Matter, made up of like-minded grassroots leaders and activists. The goal of this coalition is to help educate fellow Americans about what’s really at stake, and what the long-term consequences would be if this bill were to become law. Parents’ role in monitoring their children’s online activities would be replaced by bureaucrats in Washington, DC. Conservative parents are united in their desire to protect their role and responsibilities as parents.
